The story

I've been building software for businesses for the last couple of years, mostly between Colombo and remote clients. Whenever a customer asked for "AI for our business," I'd hit the same wall: every tool solved one slice (chatbot, blog, email) with its own pricing, its own dashboard, and almost none of them handled Sinhala.

A small business in Kandy doesn't want to wire together five SaaS subscriptions to handle chat, content, leads, and outreach. They want one place where the AI knows their business and shows up across every channel customers actually use.

aEye started with chatbots because that's the painful one clients hit first. Blog automation followed because the same knowledge that powers the chatbot can write content. Newsletters and social are next, using the same lead lists and content stores already inside aEye.

I'm still the person you'll talk to if you book a call. If something breaks, I'll be the one fixing it. That's the deal for now.

What I believe

Four things, written down.

These aren't marketing values. They're the non-negotiables that shape every product decision.

Honest pricing, no AI markup

You bring your own Claude API key. I don't sit between you and Anthropic taking a cut on tokens. The platform fee covers the platform, not your LLM bill.

Setup in minutes, not quarters

Most chatbot tools either need a weekend of integration work or a sales call. aEye is a questionnaire, a knowledge upload, and one line of script. Most users have a working bot before lunch.

Sinhala and English, by default

Customers in Sri Lanka switch languages mid-sentence and so should your tools. Every aEye feature (chat, blog, soon newsletters and social) handles English, Sinhala, and code-switched copy without extra wiring.

If it can break, you should see why

Generated system prompts are visible and editable. Conversations show every message. When something is wrong, you can fix it directly instead of opening a support ticket.
